TopoScorer (https://toposcorer.com) is run by OV1 Enterprises LLC (“we”). This page says what we keep about you, why, who else handles it, and how to get it deleted.
In short
- We keep your account details and the projects you save, so the app works.
- We record what features get used, without addresses, names or anything you type.
- We don’t sell your data, show ads, or use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Email us and we’ll send you a copy of your data or delete it.
What we keep
- Your account: your email address, your first and last name, how you sign in (Google, Apple or email link), when you joined and when you last used TopoScorer.
- Your projects: the project names, the sites you save (name, address and map location), the competitors you add and your ratings of them, and the views you save (drive time, ages and incomes).
- Sharing: when you share a project, the email address you share it with and the access you gave them. They see that project’s sites, competitors and your views in it.
- A description of your business, only if you write one.
- Usage records: what happened and when, for example “a site was added to project X” or “someone opened the help for Population”. They carry your account’s id number, counts, settings and county codes. They never include addresses, map locations, names or text you typed.
- Server logs: like most websites, our hosting records each request’s time, address (IP), browser type and any error, to keep the service running and secure.
Why we keep it
To run TopoScorer for you: sign you in, save your work, draw the drive-time areas and share projects with the people you choose. Usage records tell us which features help and which numbers confuse people, and let us measure what the service costs to run. We don’t use your data for advertising, and we don’t sell or rent it.
Who else handles it
We use these services to run TopoScorer. Each gets only what it needs.
- Google Cloud hosts the app and stores your data and our logs, in the United States.
- Firebase Authentication (Google) handles sign-in and keeps your email and sign-in method. If you sign in with Google or Apple, they tell us your email address and name.
- Address lookup: the addresses you search for are sent to the U.S. Census Bureau’s geocoder, and, if it can’t find them, to openrouteservice (HeiGIT).
- Drive times: the map location of each site is sent to openrouteservice (HeiGIT) to work out its drive-time area. We keep the result and reuse it for anyone who picks the same spot.
- Map pictures come from OpenFreeMap. Your browser fetches them directly, so OpenFreeMap sees your IP address and the part of the map you’re looking at.
- Anthropic (Claude), only when you use a feature that asks AI to suggest settings. It receives the description of your business you gave it. There is no such feature in the app at the moment.
We may share information if the law requires it, or with a company that takes over TopoScorer, which would be bound by this policy.
Cookies and browser storage
We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies, so there’s no cookie banner. The app stores your sign-in and a few settings in your browser’s own storage so you stay signed in. Signing out clears your sign-in.
How long we keep it
Your account and projects stay until you delete them or delete your account. Usage records and logs are kept as long as we need them to run and improve TopoScorer; they don’t contain your addresses, and once your account is deleted nothing in them says who you were. Drive-time areas and Census figures are shared by everyone and aren’t linked to you.
Your choices
- You can change your name, and delete any project, site, competitor or view, in the app.
- Download my data and Delete my account are on the Your account page. Deleting happens right away and also removes your sign-in account.
- Deleting your account deletes your projects too, including for anyone you shared them with.
- If you can’t sign in any more, email sales@gamestoreos.com from the address you used, and we’ll help within 30 days.
Children
TopoScorer is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects what we do with data you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you by email first.
