- How accurate is it?
- Accurate enough to compare sites, not to forecast sales. The Census figures are survey estimates, people are assumed to be spread evenly across each neighborhood, and drive times are typical, not rush hour. That’s why TopoScorer calls sites within 12% of each other a tie. More about the data.
- Will it tell me how much I’ll sell?
- No. It counts the people who fit your customers and estimates how many you’d win from competitors. Sales also depend on rent, visibility, parking, your marketing and much more.
- Where does it work?
- Anywhere in the United States. The first site in a new county takes a few seconds longer while its Census figures load.
- What does “drive time” assume?
- Normal traffic at typical road speeds. It doesn’t include rush hour, parking or how easy the site is to find. Every site in a comparison uses the same drive time, so they’re compared fairly.
- Do I need to know about maps, statistics or the Census?
- No. Pick a ready-made setting for your kind of business and add your addresses. Every number has an ⓘ that explains it in plain words.
- Who can see my sites?
- Only you, and anyone you choose to share a project with. We don’t sell your data or show it to other users. See the privacy policy.

- How do I delete my account or get a copy of my data?
